Judge Stanley Sporkin SEC Enforcement Panel

Thursday, January 18, 2024
Georgetown University Law Center

The Inaugural Judge Stanley Sporkin SEC Enforcement Panel at Georgetown University Law Center was a huge success. Moderator William McLucas and other former and current Enforcement Directors Stephanie Avakian, Andrew Ceresney, Gurbir Grewal, and Steven Peikin provided very interesting and timely insights, as well as a riveting conversation. ASECA President, Annemarie Tierney, stated, “We could not be prouder of the broad support we received from so many across the SEC alumni network for this inaugural event. It was truly moving, and we look forward to holding many more Judge Stanley Sporkin Panels in the years to come.” The event also commemorated  ASECA’s endowment of the Judge Stanley Sporkin memorial scholarship at Georgetown University Law Center.

The Association of Securities and Exchange Commission Alumni (ASECA) provides value to its members in several ways. We welcome your membership and participation in our different programs.

1. ASECA provides the opportunity for former SEC employees and staff to find and re-connect with former colleagues and friends. Re-connect through social activities, including receptions and networking opportunities in the different SEC office cities. Our annual dinner provides an opportunity to gather in Washington DC during the PLI SEC Speaks conference. Applaud the unique history and shared camaraderie of SEC alumni.
